GENRAL CHAPTER 2013
AT THE DAUGHTERS OF THE CHARITY
OF THE SACRED AHEART OF JESUS
United, in the name of Christ, and desiring to work for
the glory of the Father and to respond to human needs,
The sisters called to the General Chapter listened
to Jesus, the beloved of the Father
for three weeks of reflection, prayer and discernment.
Conscious of their responsibilities, they were careful
not to let themselves be trapped by the past,
in their affirmations and in their dreams.
They dared to face the future, a future to be invented,
discovered and to be sought while allowing the Spirit to lead them.
The Spirit brought forth orientations centered on the open heart of Jesus.

Our joy of belonging to Christ and of announcing:
He is alive, He is near, His tenderness is for all.
Let us learn from the Heart of Jesus
To risk, in faith and trust,
To live fraternally in al the richness of our being with others,
Our being for others and our being through others.
Contemplate the open heart of Jesus
The wounds of the world and
With the audacity of our Founders,
Dare to act in ways that are life giving.
Recognize, in the open heart of Jesus
The source of our belonging to one spiritual family,
rich in diversity,
and let’s strengthen the bonds of solidarity and sharing
among the Provinces for the service of our mission.
